Samantha Foard

Client Portfolio Manager

Samantha began her career with Monahans in 1988 as an AAT trainee before qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant. During her career she has gained experience across practice, industry and the public sector, including supporting IT consultancy businesses, managing higher education audits and leading finance teams.

She returned to Monahans in 1999 as a Business Services Manager and, in 2009, became Finance Manager, overseeing the firm’s finance team and producing monthly management accounts. In 2024, Samantha moved back into client-facing practice as a Client Portfolio Manager, where she now works with SMEs and personal tax clients across the Cotswolds.

Samantha enjoys working closely with owner-managed businesses, supporting them with accounts, bookkeeping and day-to-day financial queries. She believes accountancy should be clear and straightforward, helping clients understand their finances and giving practical advice they can use.

Clients value Samantha’s friendly, down-to-earth approach and the breadth of experience she brings. Whether answering everyday questions or supporting more complex matters, she focuses on providing clear guidance and building long-term relationships with the businesses she works with.

Samantha is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Outside work, Samantha enjoys walking her dog, cooking and unwinding at her mum’s static caravan in the Cotswolds.
