Kevin Mortimer

Senior Audit Manager

Kevin joined Monahans in 2013 and has spent more than 13 years working in audit. Before moving into accountancy, he was a Retail Manager with a major supermarket chain, giving him first-hand experience of the commercial challenges businesses face.

Kevin works with organisations across a wide range of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, UK subsidiaries of overseas companies and not-for-profit organisations, including charities.

For Kevin, audit is about more than compliance. He believes the best audits come from open conversations, taking the time to understand how a business operates and working collaboratively to resolve issues as they arise. His approachable style means clients know they can pick up the phone and get straightforward answers when they need them.

Kevin holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

When he’s away from the office, Kevin likes keeping active, whether that’s out on his bike or enjoying a walk with the dog.
